CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & SIGN - UP:
Your name is entered on the classes below that you are skill level eligible for. If you have a question or a special request about the classes you are entered in please email us. You are not officially signed up until we get your entry form (see below or shoot us an email with the entry info.  included). W-T-C means Walk/Trot/Canter, W-T is Walk/Trot. Young Riders in the Walk/Trot sections will be assigned a helper to stay next to their horse. $15/Class

HORSES: 
Riders using school horses please make sure to list your 1st & 2nd school horse choices. Please be aware that this does not guarantee you that horse unless you are leasing.
Haul-Ins welcome $25 per rider for grounds fee, over-night is $40. Must arrive by 12 pm to secure trailer parking. Proof of Neg. Coggins required before arriving.
Non-GES Riders entering but needing to borrow a GES horse $50 lease fee & $15 per class entry fee. See above for Halloween Show/Party cost.

PROPER ATTIRE:
ASTM/SEI approved Riding helmet with chinstrap & riding boots with a heel must be worn. Long hair must be secured. The following is appropriate; breeches, jodhpurs, paddock boots, dress/field boots, half chaps, turtle neck with a dark solid colored hunt coat, fleece, hoodie or sweater. No show cloths required from anyone, just be neatly dressed for riding.

FOOD: Potluck style lunch will start about 30 mins after arrival time in the club house. All riders who enter the show must sign up for a dish or you will be assigned some thing (everyone can't bring brownies :). Barn shows generally have at least 20 to 30 people in attendance, please keep this in mind when planning food amounts.

If you want to hang around after the barn show is done we will be heading to Panic Haunted Experience in South Lyon/Salem for a 30 min. haunted forest adventure ($25/person) around 7pm. 









Potluck List:
​Good idea's for potluck dishes - casseroles, mac n cheese, fruit salad or sliced fruit dishes, soups, meatballs, finger food, meat/cheese/cracker trays, veggie trays, chips and dips, pasta salads. Please be aware of what others are bringing as we don't need 3 tray's of brownies or 6 pasta salads :)

Please keep in mind we get anywhere for 30 to 40 people at the barn shows (riders and parents) so please plan accordingly.  Food items should be brought ready to serve.  There is a fridge and outlets if you are bringing a crock pot. If you are bringing your entire family (grand parents/aunts/uncles) and they plan to eat please make sure you bring plenty of your dish :)

GES will supply - Cider, Donuts, pulled pork sandwiches.
